The facility itself is mostly made up of wood, which has proven health benefits.
Since 2006 we have setup on the roof of the retirement home solar thermal and photovoltaic panels to help minimize environmental impact.

The layout of the nursing home is built around the winter garden, well-lighted through the glass roof. During cold months, this is also the center of recreational and cultural activity,
with a permanent art exhibition and concerts taking place.
A meadow gently slopes down to the lake, while winding paths allow to fully appreciate the surrounding nature, which includes plants, flowers and even a fish pond.
Rivabella also has several apartments available, for persons who wish to remain independent, while taking advantage of the retirement home services.
Just by crossing the garden one can access medical and nursing assistance, physical therapy, sauna and fitness center, cutting edge medical treatments like
TECAR and a five star restaurant – which also delivers meals to the apartments if requested.
All apartments are about 100 square meters, built for full accessibility and along the MINERGIE guidelines for low-energy-consumption buildings.
